Dr. Amin is a residency-trained Orofacial Pain Specialist committed to helping patients find answers to complex jaw, facial, head, and neck pain. She brings together advanced clinical training, research experience, and a compassionate patient-centered approach to provide clear diagnoses and evidence-based treatment plans.
Her path to this specialty was shaped by a deep interest in the connection between the jaw, neuromuscular systems, headaches, and chronic pain disorders. Today, she combines her academic expertise with practical, hands-on clinical skill to care for patients across Houston, Katy, and Sugar Land who often feel they have “tried everything” without relief.

Dr. Amin completed a rigorous two-year residency in Orofacial Pain at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, earning both a Master of Dental Science (MDS) and a Certificate in Orofacial Pain. During her residency, she also served as Chief Resident, a role that reflects her leadership, clinical excellence, and dedication to the specialty. Her training included comprehensive evaluation and management of TMJ disorders, myofascial pain, neuropathic conditions, headaches, sleep-related breathing disorders, and complex chronic pain presentations.

Dr. Amin is originally from India and is fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient population. Outside the clinic, she is active in community service, charitable programs, and educational workshops.
In her spare time, Dr. Amin enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their three children. She also loves getting together with friends, cooking, and baking—activities that bring her joy and balance outside her professional life.
